Getting There
The smooth gravel road is well-maintained and 15km long, so it’s suitable for cars, buses and motorhomes. Just make sure you carry snow chains and fit them when advised.

The Foote Rest Café
With a range of fresh food and drinks available all day, our cafe is the perfect spot to relax, recharge and take in the view. Kickstart your day with a barista-made Coffee. Grab one of the famous Fairlie Bakehouse pies for lunch. And get a snack for the drive down the mountain. Too easy.
