For the safety of our infants, Mount Dobson does not allow skiers or snowboarders to carry babies or toddlers in backpacks whilst out on the ski field.
The unpredictable nature of the slopes and rapidly changing weather conditions can create an unsafe environment for infants.
No matter how strong your own ski skills are, you cannot control other skiers or riders behaviour and a collision may be fatal.
Babies do not have a strong enough neck to wear a helmet, and they have a hard time staying warm in the cold.
Do the safe thing, and do not carry your baby in a carrier whilst skiing or riding at Mt Dobson.
