Mt Dobson offers dedicated ski race-training facilities including:
Slalom Lanes, 400m – 600m
Separate from the public ski trails. Access off the Bunny Platter lift & Fairlie Ridge T Bar.

Snow & Slope Preparation
Specialised slope preparation can be carried out by booking ahead. Our team can advise on surface conditions that can be expected due to weather, slope aspect and elevation
Terrain - slopes
The real advantage of Mt Dobson is the diversity of terrain for all aspects of ski racing. From flat sections of slopes to undulating terrain and steep slopes. The length of the training slopes are between 400 – 640m for Slalom, 640m – 850m for GS and up to 1.4km for Super G.

Lane Capacity
Lanes are suitable for up to 12 athletes. When a team has more than 12 athletes training per lane then you will be required to pay an additional lane fee of $50 per athlete.
Race training facilities
Mt Dobson offers a wide range of training facilities to cater for all levels including Chairlift, T Bar and Platter Lift access to race lanes. Snow surface preparation is carried out by Kassbohrer Pistenbully Park and Winch Snowcats. Car parking is close to the slopes for minimum set up and maximum slope time. The Cafe and Toilet facilities are also nearby. Coaches and managers can work directly with the Ski Area management to optimise the training environment. All athletes must have a lift pass or season pass to use the Ski lifts.
